What counts as a request?

Vector tiles:

  • Each tile load = 1 request.
  • A single map load typically loads 10-30 tiles, depending on zoom level and viewport size.
  • For example, 100 map loads with an average of 20 tiles would result in ~2,000 requests.

Places:

  • Each endpoint is counted as a single request.
  • A search query = 1 request.
  • A place details lookup = 1 request.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Absolutely. No contracts, no lock-in. Your plan adjusts automatically based on usage.

Does the free tier reset?

Yes, daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Unused requests don't roll over.
